Orasac is a beautiful small village in the Dubrovnik littoral about 12 km away from Dubrovnik, at the foot of Vracevo Brdo (Sorcerer's Hill) (442 m) and Golo Brdo (Bare Hill) (298 m), which protect the village from the cold northerly winds.

The church of Our Lady of Orasac (15th c.) was restored in Baroque style.
Below the village are the remains of the fortified castle Arapovo - Morovo (15th c.). Next to the two-storey Danovic tower (16th c.) are chapels, residences and farm-stead.

A nice beach, beautiful sea and age-old olive-groves make the picturesque village of Orasac an attractive tourist destination. Below it, at the edge of high cliffs, are the remains of a monumental castle.
A legend say that the Florentine duke Pietro Soderini resided here after he had left Florence in 1512.

In Orasac you will find a beautiful stone beach with a pizzeria and a bar.

About 5 min with the car from Orasac you will find the little village Trsteno with his oldest Renaissance Park in Croatia, Arboretum, which was build 1525.
In this Park you will find about 250 species of trees and bushes from all over the world.
